The Wrexham Supporters Trust Board would like to update supporters on talks over the potential purchase of Wrexham Football Club Limited and investment into the club.
Following the SGM on Tuesday September 22, in which 97.5 per cent of supporters voted to allow the board to continue discussions, we subsequently revealed the individuals interested in Wrexham AFC are Mr. Rob McElhenney and Mr. Ryan Reynolds.
Media attention and interest in Wrexham AFC since the announcement has increased significantly and we would like to inform supporters that discussions are ongoing and making progress.
The Wrexham Supporters Trust Board would like to reassure supporters that we are making every endeavour to act in the best interests of the Football Club and the Wrexham Supporters Trust.
Any investment proposal from the interested party will be brought back to supporters at a second Special General Meeting.
The final decision on the future direction of the Football Club will be made by you, the supporters.
