NEW Wrexham FC signing Jay Harris has expressed his gratitude to manager Dean Saunders for giving him an opportunity to redeem himself following a 12-month ban for his involvement in a betting scandal.
STRIKER Marc Williams scored both Wrexham goals in a 3-2 defeat at Morecambe yesterday, a private friendly that enabled Shrimpers’ manager Sammy McIlroy to take a look at potential target Andy Fleming.
THERE may have been no goals at the Racecourse last night, but there was no shortage of entertaining and competitive football for Wrexham FC fans getting their first glimpse of the club’s summer signings.

Trust backs Club Season Ticket Push
Wrexham Supporters Trust is backing the clubs season ticket push by buying two of the first tickets for next season.
A Trust spokesman stated:
“It is vital that we maintain our level of support and we are happy to back the clubs imaginative and attractively priced season ticket offer. We will use the tickets as incentives for our membership.”
Members can win one of our season tickets by simply participating in the 2010 AGM. One ticket is reserved for members who vote online or by post. The other ticket is reserved for members who attend the AGM on the evening itself. The draw will be made on the evening of the AGM.
A WST spokesman stated;
“We are keen to increase the level of member participation in the work of the Society. The more people that support the democratic process, the more closely the Society will reflect the views of its membership.”
Last year the Society was one of the first to embrace new technology by allowing members to vote online. This was a huge success and members can vote online again by following this link:
