Wrexham Supporters Trust are sorry to announce that Andrew Griffiths has had to withdraw from the concert at the William Aston Hall this coming Saturday due to illness.

However, we are pleased to announce that Liverpool born mezzo soprano Kathryn Rudge will be stepping into his place with the Froncysyllte Male Voice Choir.

During 2011 Kathryn made her professional opera debut with English National Opera at The Coliseum in the role of Cherubino in Mozart’s  ‘The Marriage of Figaro' and is an English National Opera Young Artist. Kathryn will also perform in the autumn of 2012 in role of Cherubino in Mozart’s Marriage of Figaro for Glyndebourne Touring Opera.

Tickets are still available and can be purchased from the Tourist Information Office in Wrexham Town centre and from the club offices at Wrexham Football Club/ Tickets can also be purchased on the evening and cost just £10.

Yn anffodus rhaid i Ymddiriedolaeth Cefnogwyr Wrecsam ddatgan fod Andrew Griffiths wedi gorfod tynnu allan o'r cyngerdd yn Neuadd William Aston, Nos Sadwrn nesaf oherwydd salwch.

Wrexham Supporters Trust are pleased to announce a concert by the Froncysyllte Male Voice Choir as part of there fundraising campaign to help clear the debts that they inherited when they became the first Supporters Trust to take on the running of a professional football club, taking over Wrexham Football Club on 30^th November.

The Choir will be in full voice on Saturday 25^th February at the William Aston Hall, with Andrew Griffiths, being the special guest singer for the evening.

Trust Chairman Peter Jones said: "We are extremely grateful to both the Choir and Andrew Griffiths for agreeing to help in the Trust's aim to make Wrexham Football Club a secure, sustainable and community run club.

The choir are known world wide following their rise to fame, and we would hope that fans of the choir and fans of the football club, who haven’t yet seen the choir, will make the effort to support this event.

I know many of the choir are big fans of the club, and I’m sure that they will take great pride in the fact that they are singing to help the club that they support. It promises to be an exciting evening."

Mae Ymddiriedolaeth Cefnogwyr Wrecsam yn falch i gyhoeddi cyngerdd gan Côr  Meibion Froncysyllte fel rhan o ymgyrch YCW i glirio dyledion a etifeddwyd wrth perchnogi CPD Wrecsam. YCW yw'r Ymddiriedolaeth bêl-droed cyntaf i cymerid awenau Clwb Pêl-droed Proffesiynol. Digwyddodd hyn ar  30 o Dachwedd 2011.

Bydd Y Côr yn llawn o ganu ar Ddydd Sadwrn y 25ed o Chwefror 2012 yn Neuadd William Aston, gyda Andrew Griffiths,  yr unawdydd ar y noson arbennig yma.

Dywedodd Cadeirydd YCW, Peter Jones: "Yr ydym yn hynod ddiolchgar i'r Côr ac i Andrew Griffiths am gytuno i helpu'r Ymddiriedolaeth yn ei uchelgais o wneud CPD Wrecsam yn glwb cymunedol, ariannol cadarn a chynaliadwy."
