Kettering Town FC Bucket Collection

on .

ktfc11-033054 400x500Due to the off the field problems that Kettering Town FC are facing, and the fact that we have been through troubled times ourselves, the Board of Wrexham Supporters Trust felt that we should help Kettering Town Supporters Trust by making a bucket collection at the home game with the Poppies on Saturday 21st January with all proceeds being handed over to the Chairman of their Trust after the game.

Having moved from Rockingham Road, there home since 1897, last summer, they now find themselves under a transfer embargo and thus a threadbare squad. The Trust's Press Officer Karen Spencer, stated "We have to take this seriously now. I don't think we can sit back and wait for things to come to a head. Ultimately this is about saving Kettering Town Football Club."

Any members who would be willing to shake a bucket for the collection then can we ask that you report to the Trust Shop on Mold Road at 1.30pm on the day of the game to help with the collection. We would also ask all fans to dig deep and help a troubled club in their hour of need. We have been their ourselves.
