On behalf of the board of Wrexham FC I am delighted to announce the permanent appointment of Don Bircham to the position of Chief Executive of Wrexham Football Club. Having spent the majority of last season in the position on an ‘interim’ basis Don will continue in the vital role as the club continues to move forwards and will also remain as a Director of the Football Club. On behalf of the Board, The Trust and all Wrexham fans I would like to extend my appreciation to Don who will perform the role free of charge so that we can maximise the funds we can provide to Andy & the team as we look to make another assault on the Conference Title next season.

WST Members Meeting 7th May 2013

centenary1It was standing room only at the Centenary Club on Tuesday night as a packed WST members meeting listened to Chairman Pete Jones quiz manager Andy Morrell and his assistant Billy Barr after a memorable season for the Club. With their usual openness Andy and Billy gave an absorbing account of the roller coaster ride which saw the team reach two Wembley finals in a matter of weeks. The presence of the FA Trophy reminded fans of the history making trip in March but the disappointment of Sundays play off final defeat was shared by all -not least the management. Never the less the mood was up beat as Andy and Billy answered everything asked of them with characteristic frankness and good humour. Their determination to succeed next season and achieve the ultimate prize of a return to the Football League was plain to see. Billy made a point of offering “massive thanks” to WST and the Boards for their great support and guidance during the course of the season.

Members Meeting – Tuesday 7th May!

Wrexham Supporters Trust will be holding our next members meeting on Tuesday 7th May 2013 at the Centenary Club starting at 7.30pm when we will be holding a question and answers session with our management team of Andy Morrell, Billy Barr and Michael Oakes.

We will also have in attendance the FA Carlsberg Trophy for members to have the opportunity to have their photo’s taken with.
