Well its been a while but thanks to WST member and volunteer Gareth Venn the stall was able to attend a very successful Mold Food Festival.

Massive thanks go to the event organizers for having us, Gareth for sorting it out along with Anita. I must not for get Mike, Luke, Neil and Wrex The Dragon for helping and making it such a great day!

Wrex was the usual star stopping for lots of photos with fans of all ages and posing at other stalls. Some of Wrex's highlights include meeting Sali Mali (of S4C children s television), milking a pretend cow and enjoying lots of food samples.

I think all involved had a fantastic day and on behalf of the WST volunteers would also like to thank the fans that came over and supported us today.

This is what a community club is all about.

After being invited by Chris Maddocks, manager at Wilkinsons on Island Green, Wrex and the Saturday Stall volunteers spent the day helping to raise funds for Macmillan Cancer Support. The fantastic volunteers helped Wilkinson staff cycle over 200 kilometers, raising over £200 for Macmillan in the process, you know who you all are and take a look at the photographic evidence.

Fantastic effort by all involved, signing up new members and selling merchandise at the same time.

Despite the up and down weather the stall and volunteers still remained in Hope street at the same time. New memberships, more merchandise sold and more hearts won.

The Saturday Stall have been invited to attend Wilkinson's Fun day on Saturday 4th August 10am-4pm, supporting Macmillan. Wrex will be joining us to help this great cause. Come down and say hello and if you want to stay and help, the more the merrier.

We will also be in out usual town centre location for the day, with selected stock at up to 20% off so grab yourself a bargain.

Mr Davies a teacher at Black Lane and a Wrexham supporter, got in touch with the volunteers after hearing about Wrex attending other schools. Mr Davies asked about the possibility of Wrex being present at the school fair. One of the volunteers Anita was happy to arrange this as her son is a pupil at the school, Anita attended with Wrex to join in the fun and win some more hearts.
