Trust Welcomes Federation Support

The board of the Wrexham Supporters Trust acknowledges the statement released earlier this week by the Wrexham Supporters Federation relating to the press comments made by club Chairman Geoff Moss on September 23rd.

We would like to place on record our appreciation for the support of all the Wrexham Supporters Groups for the WST objective of obtaining equity in Wrexham FC.

WST Chairman Nick Stockdale stated;

Following the comments reported in the press on the 23rd of September, which we felt did not represent the huge contribution to the club that our members made both historically and today, we are very grateful to our friends in the Wrexham Supporters Federation for their message of support by stating that the Federation

Remains in full agreement with the long term objectives of Wrexham Supporters Trust

We have all learnt over the past five years that it can be tough supporting the club we love but although our unity has been tested it has never been found wanting as ultimately we all share the same passion for our Club.
The Wrexham Supporters Trust remains focussed on the long-term security of the Wrexham Football Club and the Racecourse Ground.

The Trust board agrees that the best way to achieve these goals is through securing a shareholding in the club that gives the Society a controlling interest.

We currently have an investment fund of £350k and hope this money can be put to good use in building on the great start that our new manager has made to his managerial career.

Wrexham Supporters Federation Statement

In the light of certain comments currently circulating, the various supporters' groups affiliated to the Wrexham Supporters' Federation feel it necessary to issue the following statement:-

"The Wrexham Supporters' Federation confirms its complete commitment to Wrexham Football Club - to its chairman and board, its manager, and the entire Club staff. It is our intention to do all that we can to ensure a speedy return to our proper place in the Football League, and to then see the Club continue to prosper.

"All of the Supporters' Groups that constitute the Federation are united by these ambitions, and we also remain in full agreement with the long-term objectives of the Wrexham Supporters' Trust.

"The time has surely come for ALL of the supporters of Wrexham Football Club to now stand together."
