Wrexham Football Club are holding the 2013/14 Player of the Season dinner on Sunday, 27 April at the Lion Quays, starting at 1.00pm.
The full management team, including new manager Kevin Wilkin, and the first team playing squad will be in attendance to collect the Wrexham FC Player of the Season awards from all the club's recognised supporters' groups.
The cost of the dinner is just £30 per person, which will include a two-course meal. Our guest speaker speaker will be the former Welsh international and Everton defender Kevin Ratcliffe, who will ensure it will be an afternoon to remember.
Kevin, who made a total of 461 appearances for the Toffeemen, was renowned for his robust approach to the game and for being a tough tackler. He was made captain of Everton at the age of 23, and went on to help the club to win the 1984 FA Cup final; the Football League championship in 1984-85 and the European Cup-Winners Cup the same season.
Kevin was capped by Wales 59 times, often as captain, playing in a Welsh team that came so close to qualifying for a major tournament, and boasting quality players such as Ian Rush, Neville Southall and Mark Hughes. Kevin's last match for Wales was actually Ryan Giggs' first!
He later went into management with both Chester City and Shrewsbury Town, and has since worked as a TV and Radio pundit.
You can book your seats by calling in at the Club Shop and paying by cash or card.
