Wrexham FC expects significant interest in away tickets following the draw for the third round of the FA Cup for the tie against Premier League opposition Stoke City. The tie will be played on date yet to be finalised, between 3rd January and 6th January 2015.
There is no further information available at this point and we ask fans to be patient whilst we finalise the organisation of the tie with Stoke City. We will endeavour to update fans further tomorrow evening [Tuesday 9th December].
Whilst we are concluding the arrangements we request that fans watch the club website, the WST website and local media for more information and don't call the club regarding ticketing information for the Stoke City game in the next 24hrs. This will give us the time to conclude arrangements more quickly.
Director of the Football Club, Spencer Harris, said "We are delighted to have been drawn against Stoke City as there are many connections between the two clubs. It will be a great occasion to pit our wits against a team led by Mark Hughes one of Wrexham's most famous sons and we are sure all the players, staff and fans will be looking forward to our visit to the Potteries."
He also added "There are many arrangements that need to be made before the date and time of the tie can be confirmed and we'd advise fans not to book any travel or accommodation at this stage and watch the club website for details as they become available. We will make information available through the website, mailings to club members and through the local media first."
