The New Saints of Oswestry Town's Sam Finley has joined Wrexham FC on loan until the end of the season.
The former Warrington midfielder joined The Red Dragons at the 11th hour last night and will now spend the remainder of the 2014/2015 season with Kevin Wilkin's side.
Finley, 22, was the Welsh Premier League Young Player of the Year last season but injury problems have restricted the tenacious midfielder to only eight Corbett Sports Welsh Premier League appearances during the current campaign.
The Liverpool-born Finley, will be available for selection when we next play a league game, but along with Kieron Morris can't play in the Gateshead replay – if we ever get to play.
Manager Kevin Wilkin was happy that his patience finally paid off, as the last of the red tape was finalised and the player confirmed as available for the rest of the season.
"I'm glad it's all done and Sam will offer us something different in midfield to what we've already got," he said.
"Obviously Carl [Darlington] has worked closely with him, helped bring him through and given the player a strong recommendation.
"Hopefully, he will bring that something different to the midfield area."
