The sale of Season Tickets for 2015/16 will commence tomorrow Friday 8th May 2015 with our popular early bird offer which will close on Friday 5th June 2015.
2015/16 promises to be an exciting time to be a Wrexham AFC supporter. Securing Gary Mills as the man to lead our promotion charge is a statement of our intent at Wrexham AFC to challenge for top spot. We want you with us supporting that charge. It’s time to believe.
To help you join us in our pursuit of the Football League we have frozen season ticket prices for the second year running. In fact, we have gone a step further by improving our concession age for younger fans and extending the under 16 category prices up to under 18. This will support younger fans who are often still in education. In addition we have also extended this concession to our highly popular family tickets.
For example a ‘parent’ and ‘young person under 18’ season ticket will cost from just £229 + £45 - under £274! Not forgetting the parent and child under 11 season ticket which is just £244!
Our early bird pricing policy means that price per game to watch Gary Mills’ side next season will be from:
Over 80 £3.26
Over 62 £7.35
Under 21 £7.35
Under 18 £3.26 / *Family Under 18 £1.96
Under 11 £0.65
*as part of family ticket
We believe this is excellent value and we urge as many fans as possible to get behind Gary and the team and roar us to promotion next season by committing to a season ticket.
We promised you BIG news and we have the best news possible. Your cries of “we want you to stay” did not fall on deaf ears and it’s our pleasure to announce the man who played every minute of all 61 games last season Manny Smith has penned a 1 year deal to lead our promotion charge next season.
As we head into the close season, our first signing of the summer is the one and only Manny Smith, who has agreed a new one-year contract for 2015/16.
“I’m very happy it’s all finally sorted and we have been able to get the paperwork finished,” said the central defender.
“When I first joined last year, my aim was to help get this club back into the Football League and I feel we're going along the right path towards that aim.”
“I want to help get this club up and play a big part in it.”
Manny’s ‘never say die attitude’ has certainly endeared him to the Racecourse fans and it’s something we will be seeing more of.
“I want to be involved in every game and to give everything to win,” he said. “It’s important to train right and be available for the next match.
“For the example we had a great turnout at Telford on the last day of the season and you could have said there was nothing to play for, but there was. The fans had paid good money to get to the game and you have to give them all you can for that 90 minutes.”
The spirit that made him an ever present in the team during 2015/16, that was 61 games played and with extra time, it took him to some 5,550 minutes of action. Also, he never missed a training session!
“Going to Wembley was an experience last season, but I would happily sacrifice that and the Stoke City match for promotion,” said Manny. “Our fans have big expectations for the club and it’s up to us to match them on the pitch. I wouldn't have come here in the first place, if I didn’t think we could do just that. For the level we play at, this is a massive club and deserves to be battling at the top of the table. We didn’t achieve that last season, we have to next year."
“There is a new manager in place and we already have the basis of a good squad, I’m looking forward to the new season already.”
Our squad is taking shape, we have a manager who plays winning attractive football and we have the best fans in the league. It’s time to believe.
