WST AGM, 25th June - Full Details Featured

wstlargeThe Annual General Meeting of the Wrexham Football Supporters’ Society (known as the Wrexham Supporters Trust, “WST”) will be held at 7.30pm on Thursday 25th June 2015 at the Centenary Club, The Racecourse Ground, Wrexham.

The agenda and papers for the meeting - including details of the resolutions have all been published in a folder on the WST website here or via http://tinyurl.com/WST-AGM2015. This folder will be updated as we approach the AGM, for example when the accounts are published in advance of the meeting.

Please note, we will only be posting printed AGM packs to those members for whom we don't have an email address. All other notifications will be by email/press advert. Please help us to keep costs down and make sure your details are accurate, or you could be missing out on important Trust and Club news - please see here for how to maintain your Club Membership details.

There are two important pieces of WST democracy that take place at the AGM:

WST Governing Body Elections

There are 7 candidates standing for 4 vacancies on the Club Governing Body ("WST Board") this year. All of their details as well as how to vote online, can be found here or at http://www.tinyurl.com/WSTelections

AGM Resolutions

There are a number of resolutions put to the AGM this year. There are set out in detail in the AGM folder here , along with supporting information from the proposer, and the view of the Club Governing Body if it is a Member's resolution.

You can vote online for the resolutions here or in person at the AGM. Please note that you can only vote once (either online, in person or via a proxy). You must have been a member on xxx to be eligible to vote, and votes are scrutinised before counting to ensure eligibility.

Before you vote, please be sure to click on the "supporting information" links to see the background to the resolution, and the Board's view and informed advice on each resolution. Any such views expressed by the Board are based on consultation with expert advice and information not necessarily available or disclosable to Resolution proposers.

The 7 resolutions are:

Resolution A - "bubble" match arrangements

Resolution B - "bubble" match arrangements and kick off times

Resolution C - publication of WST and WAFC accounts

Resolution D - publication of WST and WAFC accounts

Resolution E - arrangements for circulation of Special General Meeting proposals

Resolution F - authorisation to invest WST funds in WAFC

Resolution G - appointment of WST auditors

Please note you should vote for Resolution C or D, not both.

Please bring your membership card with you if you have one and arrive early as it will speed up entry to the meeting. May we take this opportunity to thank you for your continued support, and look forward to seeing you at the AGM.

WST Independent Secretary
