We now only have a small number of discounted tickets remaining for our Grassroots Youth Football Day for the home game v's Dagenham and Redbridge on Saturday, 9th February. In just over a week, over 1,000 tickets in the lower GUS and Mold end Paddock of the BKoncepts Stand have been snapped up by local youth football clubs. The remaining tickets will be issued on a first come, first served basis and are available from the club shop. We anticipate the remaining tickets to sell out tomorrow.
This is the first event of this kind we have run and it looks like being a fantastic occasion for all that attend. The event has been arranged to connect Wrexham AFC with local youth teams and to introduce the next generation of supporters to the excitement and passion of a Racecourse matchday.
Due to an unbelievable response for tickets for our Grassroots Youth Football Day (Saturday, 9th February’s home game v’s Dagenham and Redbridge), we are delighted to announce that we will now also be opening the lower Paddock in the BKoncepts Stand (below the away fans) for this event.
Since going on sale on Monday, demand for tickets in the lower section of the Glyndwr University Stand has been incredibly high. We anticipate this section selling out in the coming days and we will then sell tickets in the BKoncepts Stand. Groups placed in this area will be fully segregated from the visiting supporters.
Full information about the event can be found here https://www.wrexhamafc.co.uk/news/youth-grassroots-youth-football-day .

Our Directors for the Day at the Dover game yesterday were Junior Dragon members Eric Simon and Harry Ankers, both aged 10. Mum, Debbie Simon, had won a competition on the Junior Dragons' Facebook page to enjoy pre-match hospitality in the boardroom and seats in the Directors Box to watch the game.
After the game Debbie told us 'What a fantastic time we had as Directors for the day, it was absolutely amazing! The lads loved every minute of it (except the score! ) but even that didn't ruin the day! Everyone was so welcoming, kind and friendly. They haven't stopped taking about it yet! Thanks so much for making their day a special day to remember.'
Host Robert Stock said 'It was a pleasure to host Debbie, Eric and Harry in the Boardroom today. You couldn't wish to meet two more polite and well-mannered children than Eric and Harry. I'm delighted that they enjoyed the Director for the Day experience so much.'
Our Directors for the Day at the home match against Solihull Moors on December 29th 2018 were Phil Roberts and Barry Parsonage, both have been following the Town since the early 1970's.

At the heart of our community, Wrexham Association Football Club represents so much to so many people, of all ages, with a significant footballing and social history, spanning over 154 years. However, it is those who have followed the Club through all those years that truly have made it the iconic symbol of all our hopes and dreams. The Racecourse has become the gathering place of the diverse communities of not just Wrexham town itself, but much of Wales and the Marches and beyond, becoming one community, one extended family of shared memories, experiences and ambitions.
As with any family, the passage of time takes it toll, we lose those loved ones who have, and continue, to mean so much to us. Every year, Wrexham AFC intends to dedicate one special match when we can all join together in respecting the memories of those loved ones who have passed away over the last year and share in celebrating their lives. This season, the Vanarama National League Home match against Dagenham & Redbridge on 9th February 2019 will be dedicated to our now absent, but never forgotten, friends. There will be a minute’s commemorative silence at the beginning of the match, and the names of those departed will be displayed on the electronic scoreboard and also in the matchday program in a special commemorative section.
Our memories will always ensure their place as a member of the Wrexham AFC family.
